Krabi’s new marina
Posted by admin on March 2nd, 2010 filed in UncategorizedMost travellers consider Krabi town nothing more than a jumping off point to the islands or a sleepy backpacker stopover. The bustling little town has plenty of culture and character, but with so many paradisiacal islands in the vicinity, most travellers are in too much of a rush to paradise to stop and explore.
The new international airport has made Krabi more accessible. Air links to Singapore and Malaysia have provided a convenient gateway for a wider range of international visitors.
At the end of March 2010, the opening of Krabi’s new marina is set to attract a new wave of tourism to the town. The 46-berth marina is located close to the town centre, allowing yacht owners easy access to Krabi’s amenities.
A new art gallery and temple are just two of the Krabi’s main tourist attractions, but there is no shortage of things to do and see around the town.
