Just outside the beach resort of Ao Nang, Natin Spicy Garden is a lush and leafy enclave where you can learn more about nature. Around fifty percent of prescription medicine is derived from tropical plants. Natin Spicy Garden is home to hundreds of medicinal and edible plants.

The owner of Spicy Garden is a retired pharmacist with a love for botany. Hundreds of plants, flowers and trees in the garden have been used as the base of medicines and herbal remedies for centuries.

Guided tours are available, and are the best way to fully appreciate the contribution plants have made to modern medicine. It is amazing to find out how so many ornamental flowers can cure you or kill you.

Visitors can look forward to spending an hour or two wandering around the garden and finding out about plants which have been used for everything from sex hormones to laxatives.

Natin Spicy Garden is open on a daily basis and entrance is free.
