Halloween in Krabi

Halloween isn’t a traditional celebration or event in Thailand; however, it is possible to get your spook on if you happen to be in a major tourist resort such as Krabi.

Many bars in Phi Phi Island get decked out for the annual spookfest and encourage customers to come in fancy dress. Phi Phi’s night scene is always full of vitality, so dress-up night is sure to be a vibrant affair.

The Rooftop Bar in Krabi town is also planning a haunting Halloween. If you are a thirsty devil, head to Krabi Town’s loftiest drinking hole for vodka jellies and a fire show.

Arrive early to enjoy a sweeping view of Krabi Town and the surrounding area as the sun sinks south.

As for costume shopping – you will have to use your imagination as there isn’t a fancy dress store in town. Unless you decide to get dressed up in traditional Thai costume, you will have to improvise and see what you can put together with your finds!
