Rainy days in Krabi

Most western visitors are dissapointed to experience rain while on holiday in Thailand. Many visitors arrive in hope of endless sunshine; however, Thailand is a tropical country therefore rain is part of the deal.

While island trips and beach days can be crossed off the list, there are plenty of other things to do. Rainy days are great for souvenir shopping, museum visits and lazy late lunches in prime people-watching restaurants. Temple visits are also possible in the rain.

Enjoy a wander around Krabi town under an umbrella. Try different street snacks and exotic fruits as you stroll. The beach may be out of bounds but there are still many ways to enjoy your day despite the rain.
