Naga Festival
Posted by beach climber on April 21st, 2011 filed in UncategorizedLast weekend, hordes of locals, expats and tourists gathered on Klong Muang Beach for a fantastic event, the Naga Festival. After an official ceremony, a spectacular fireworks display over the sea marked the opening of the festival.
High-end resorts such as the Sheraton and Phulay Bay Resort offered visitors a sample of what’s on offer at their resorts. A wide selection of food was served on the sand, including many tasty Indian dishes. Fruit shakes and cocktails were also available.
As the night progressed, a DJ took to the decks and laid down some funky grooves and got everyone in the mood for a beach party.
The event lasted three days and was a huge success, allowing more people to hear about one of Krabi’s most peaceful spots, Klong Muang Beach.
